The production of figurines and accessories under the Adalbertus brand has been completed. Thank you to all Adalbertus fans and clients for over 12 years of support. Our figurines will not be lost, they will be continued under the new brand name by Atak Model.

Growing popularity of armor  model kits in 1/48 scale can not remain unnoticed by the manufacturers of model accessories. Each plastic model kit requires some alterations. To meet the demand, Adalbertus offers a range of resin additives and accessories also in this scale. Thanks to them, it is possible correction and enrichment of model tanks. Thanks to ready to use conversion it is faster and easier than in the case of scratchbuilding.

Until recently, scale 1/48 is reserved mainly for model airplanes, and figures in this scale were produced mainly for just about this branch. In recent years there has been considerable development in the modeling of armored scale and increase its popularity. Scale armor in 1/48 scale was recognized very convenient for space-saving, while maintaining a good level of detail (compared to the scale of 1/35). This means an increase in demand also figures in 1/48 scale, which will apply in these areas modeling. Here, with the help comes, among other things Adalbertus, producing resin figures, so that your vehicle will receive a human face and an excellent reference volume. 1/35 scale is the most popular scale for military vehicles. Hence, naturally there are a lot figures in this scale. Many modelers can not imagine building the combat vehicle without placing on it or next to, at last one figure. This helps to give impression of real  the size of the vehicle and of course adds life model.

Adalbertus offer of  figures in 1/35 scale is not limited to the crew. Plenty of available sets allows you to create whole units and present them easily without models of vehicles. There is also a vast number of modelers who use high quality resin figures in 1/35 scale and present them as idependent miniature model or in pairs. Their size (similar to the scale 54 mm) is big enought for accurate reproduction of detail and does not cause problems during assembly. Figures in scale 54 mm (height measured to the most eye level) correspond to 1/32 scale. It is the most popular scale of miniatures. And its popularity is affected by several factors.

  • First, figure 54 mm retain good value of  details to size.
  • Second, is the size at which most modelers have no problems with painting details.
  • Thirdly, the price is reasonable, especially in comparison with miniatures in scale 75 and 120 mm.
  • Fourth, the small size allows an easy presentation, and even creating small scenes in a small space.

54 mm miniatures subject is representing mostly the military figures until the end of the nineteenth century. Less appear subject from the first half of the twentieth century, and contemporary are reserved rather for 1/35 scale. Figures 54 mm are produced mostly from the resin or metal. Adalbertus produces historical figures from the resin. In addition to each set of instructions is included.

Scale 75 mm (1/24) did not belong to the most popular scale miniatures for a long time. In a few last years its popularity has grown a lot. It is a compromise between the scale while the 54 mm and 120 mm, by which the figure is rendered very well, while not too large. Figures 75 mm are made of metal or resin, and chice of subject  is very wide. Like other kits in different scales, so in this scale to figures Adalbertus accompanied by a color manual. This allows the modeler has an easier job and not have to search the source material in order to obtain the basic information necessary to correct paint.

Figures 120 mm are some of the most frequently chosen by modellers starting out figures for assembly. The sheer size make it easier to paint details such as eyes, small parts handling or uniform. Figures in this scale are usually cast in resin. Resin figures offer more detail, and the quality is better than the plastic counterparts. Figures Adalbertus, in addition to the resin parts are provided with a leaflet with basic information, photo-etched parts for the small details and decals.

International Awards

Our figures of 120 mm were twice as included in Model of Year list by the German magazine ModellFan. In 2009,  it was nominated Home Army Courier , and in 2011 Polish soldier from the battle for Berlin was awarded the medal of the Model of the Year. Polish soldier has special significance for Adalbertus for another reason. As the first of the figures on offer, this had its beginnings as a project 3d.
